Father's Day Golf

Played golf with my Dad (Gary), brother (Craig) and buddy Jon this past Sunday. We all had a good time on a beautiful day here in KC. Feeling a little non-sleepy tonight so I am gonna blog a bit. My Dad has been taking lessons from Carl out at Smiley's Golf Complex and they are really paying off. He is hitting the ball much more consistently and finally had fun playing the game. He is taking lessons so he can spend more time with his sons as he gets older, which is awesome.

There were alot of deer out on the course (and other animals of the wild kingdom as Jon pointed out). Anyway, I snapped this shot of Craig on hole #7 which was pretty cool.

But the question is Kyle, did you see any baby seals out on the course? :-)

"That's a peach hon.... Oh, golly I'm hot today!!"

The Ole Village Greens Golf Course

Peez took me out to one of our old college favorites 2 weekends ago.  The course is called THE VILLAGE GREENS and it resides in lovely Ozawkie, KS near Perry Lake.  We played this course quite a bit in our later days in college because it was cheap and fun.  All we had was Alvamar when we were at KU and she’s a little pricey for college kids.  Anyway, it was humid and hot but good times.  After, we stopped in Oskaloosa to watch the final round of the PGA at some local ‘downtown’ bar called Angie’s?

Simulating A Right-Click From The Keyboard

I have been doing quite a bit of LogMeIn (IT Reach and Rescue) lately and sometimes my mouse right-click does not work to get context menus.  Therefore, if you ever have this issue, just select the icon or item you need and press [Shift] [F10].  I am sure Tim could have told me this, but he wasn't here :)
