Babymoon at the Lodge

Allie and I are getting ready to be parents.  We took a weekend vacation down to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.  We had a perfect room at the Lodge of the Four Seasons.  We had breakfast in bed and read our baby books... *name the movie We then had a duet massage/spa and an incredible dinner... I wonder if my daughter will someday read this post.  Hmmm...we are so excited for you to join us!

Listening To Obama

This is simply a personal timestamp...I am at the office in Lenexa listening to Barack's inauguration speech on NPR.com.  Going to watch it tonight with Allie and BabyA on the way!

Software Support Standard

As the novelty of software development has worn off and many users now depend on your software, I have realized the following and needed to make a note of it... When users describe something that is happening with the software you developed/support...it is always explained in a way you never expected thus leading to more questions.  I am not saying that an end-user's explanation is wrong, it is just not how you would have personally described it as a developer.  All I know is that there is always something wrong/unexpected in their experience and it requires attention.
