As the novelty of software development has worn off and many users now depend on your software, I have realized the following and needed to make a note of it...
When users describe something that is happening with the software you developed/support...it is always explained in a way you never expected thus leading to more questions. I am not saying that an end-user's explanation is wrong, it is just not how you would have personally described it as a developer. All I know is that there is always something wrong/unexpected in their experience and it requires attention.
