EnGraph's ParaPlan Pro AVL Unleashed!

After Tim and I enjoyed making the sequel to "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"...we safely made it to San Angelo, TX on Sunday, October 16, 2005. (albeit 9 hours late thanks to Continental Airlines)

Concho Valley Rural Transit District has been a progressive client of ours since 2002. They started with our entry-level product, ParaPlan Lite with an Access backend, then updgraded to ParaPlan Pro SQL and have now upgraded to ParaPlan Pro AVL.

ParaPlan Pro AVL is our premier Paratransit management application. With this turnkey solution users can...

  • Take and manage client appointments quickly
  • Dispatch each trip to any route or driver
  • Generate efficient computer-assisted route schedules
  • Transmit those schedules electronically to each vehicle's MDT
  • Monitor routes in real-time using the EnGraph GPS Control Room
  • Communicate with each driver using the EnGraph Mobile Messenger
  • Reconcile actual arrival times and mileages with accurate GPS data
  • Review the actual route from any day on a digital map

This solution developed by EnGraph is provided by a combination of powerful partners...

We also implemented Air-Trak's Clouberry SatCom Upgrade as the communication network since their service area covers 16,000 rural square miles.

Along with these technologies, ParaPlan Pro AVL is 100% reliable due to the synergy of the following products architected by Tim Hibbard...

  • EnGraph GPS Manager Client
  • EnGraph GPS Manager Server
  • EnGraph GPS Control Room
  • EnGraph Mobile Messenger

The buzz about this solution has already started!

Bite In The Blog Bark
The war has raised a flurry of questions - are blogs personal diaries in the public domain or can they be legislated? T.R. VIVEK It was just another blog.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

I have a Phone Sex site/blog. It pretty much covers Phone Sex and Adult related talk.

Come and check it out if you get time :-)

Sorry that I can't say anything about phone sex or quality assurance highway construction, but I do have to say that I'm fascinated with the possiblities that the technologies provide.

And don't forget, some of those pet owners are rich. :)

Kyle J. Archer, I want to thank you for this post. I was nearing the end of my rope in my search for gps real time tracking system, and even though EnGraph's ParaPlan Pro AVL Unleashed! didn't exactly meet my needs, it was such a worthwhile read that it gave me some more energy to continue. Thanks again. I can only hope to find more gems in my search for gps real time tracking system.

Transferring Outlook Data

Tim showed me how to use the Microsoft 'Save My Office Settings' tool, which worked like a champ as I was setting up my new machine. So if you want to have the same settings, toolbar locations, rules, etc. on a different machine...just go to Microsoft Office Tools->Save My Settings. Then transfer that file (*.OPS) to the new machine and load it the same way, very nice. Now to Outlook... I wanted to transfer all of my outlook data to the new machine also, which required messing with the infamous 'outlook.pst' file. This file can be found at "C:\Documents and Settings\Kyle Archer\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\". I found out that PST stands for 'Personal Store' according to Microsoft. Anyway, this monster file contains all your emails, events, contacts, notes, etc. It can get quite large and mine was appraoching a Gig. Even when you clean out your junk mail, delete stuff then remove your 'Deleted Items', it doesn't do m

Simulating A Right-Click From The Keyboard

I have been doing quite a bit of LogMeIn (IT Reach and Rescue) lately and sometimes my mouse right-click does not work to get context menus.  Therefore, if you ever have this issue, just select the icon or item you need and press [Shift] [F10].  I am sure Tim could have told me this, but he wasn't here :)
